First trip to the Georgia Aquarium…Second set of tickets
Anne, the Girls, and I went to the Georgia Aquarium on Saturday with Dan, Ashley, and Barrett. Anne and I tried to go once before…meaning we purchased group tickets when Anne was 5 months pregnant with Grace thinking that she would be able to go when she was 7 months. Needless to say, we couldn’t go and the Georgia Aquarium doesn’t do refunds.
Either way, we went and we were not alone. It was packed; every exhibit had young and old alike pressed to the glass in a way I’ve only seen two other times. Oddly enough, both of these occurred at the nursury at Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs. Without a doubt, if they put 15-20 newborn babies in a room with a 5′ diameter circular window I guarantee you couldn’t tell the difference. Regardless, we had a great time and I enjoyed spending time with our family. It’s no secret that I like fish and I like to fish for fish, but I found myself finding more enjoyment out of the excitement of the others than from the hundreds of species on exhibit. It was a good way to spend a Saturday, especially since we know it will be one of the last before Dan & Ashley become Mobillians.
